The Players and Statutes Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has ordered Asante Kotoko to pay former midfielder Kwame Bonsu Conte $30,000.
Kwame Bonsu was transferred from Asante Kotoko to Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis on a four-year deal in July, 2019.
But since then, the player has not received his percentage of the transfer fee which forced his management to challenge the case at the Players and Statues Committee.
Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM is however reporting that, the Players and Statues Committee of the Ghana FA has ruled that Kotoko are to pay Kwame Bonsu a twenty percent of the transfer fee which is $30,000.
Also, the Porcupines have been instructed to pay a sum of Gh¢5,000 ($865) to the midfielder for delaying to pay the transfer fee since 2019 when the deal was successful.
In other news, the manger of Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu has also disclosed that management of the club have told the player to evacuate the clubhouse in the space of two weeks.
This is because the player and his management have rejected a new deal without a signing on fee but a salary of Gh¢2,5000, when the player is demanding Gh¢5,000 every month.[ads5]
