Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has assured that, the Ghana Premier League will be telecast live starting from the match day three.

The Ghana Premier League has not been broadcasted live on any television after the FA terminated the ten years contract with Chinese television company Startimes.
However, the GFA President has assured Ghanaians that the league will be telecasted live from the match day three going as new broadcasting holders are expected to be announced next week.
“The Football Association is very much committed to giving access to everyone in the nation and beyond to consume our league.” Mr. Okraku told Joy FM.
“The last two weeks have been challenging, doing due diligence on companies that have made the bids. By the third week, matches will be broadcasted by some TV stations.”

“We are not only looking at the Ghana Premier League, but we are also looking at giving the needed visibility to the Women’s football and Division one football,” he added.
Kyfilla.com understands, media organizations like ESPN, Supersports and others are in the race for the broadcasting rights.
Already the Ghana Premier League has entered into week two with Asante Kotoko leading the league log with six points after their game against Legon Cities FC on last Friday.
