The 25-year old left-back has joined the list of players expected to leave the club before the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season commenced.
According to several reports in the local media, management of the Porcupine Warriors have decided to abrogate the contract of the former Inter Allies defender.
Abass Mohammed had brighter start at Asante Kotoko during the last season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign under the tutelage of former coach CK Akonnor, but injury saw the player sidelined.

Under coach Kjetil Zachariassen, Mohammed struggled to get a playing time due to the presence of Patrick Yeboah and Evas Owusu.
Already, the likes of Jordan Opoku, Augustine Sefah and Martin Antwi are all reported to be shown the exit door before the commencement of the 2019/20 league season.
