Asante Kotoko are likely to lose three key players in their set up before commencing the CAF Champions league season.
According to the General Manager of the Porcupine Warriors, George Amoako, the team is likely to lose Songne Yacouba, Abdul Fatawu Shafiu and Kwame Bonsu Conte.
“I can confidently say 3 to 4 of our players will be transferred to another clubs before we kick the ball.
“We’re losing the services of key players like Fatawu, Yacouba and Kwame Bonsu. It is likely all of them might go. We have to plan to replace them. That’s why so many names are being bundled around”, George Amoako told Oyerapa FM.
Meanwhile, the aforesaid players have been included in the Asante Kotoko registered squad for the next season’s CAF Champions league campaign.
Kotoko will play their first game in the next season’s CAF Champions league on August 9, 2019.
