Asante Kotoko are likely to hijack striker Victorien Adebayor’s move to Hearts of Oak.

An earlier reports in the media revealed that, the Executive Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak Togbe Afede XIV has vowed to sign the 23-year old Nigerien to strengthen their attack.
But according to the former Public Relations Officer Kotoko, Obed Acheampong, a group of rich Kotoko supporters held a discussion in which they agreed to get the Inter Allies posterman Victorian Adebayor as replacement for Songne Yacouba he fails to renew his contact.

Currently, Songne Yacouba has few months left on his contract with Asante Kotoko and has held several meetings with management of the club for a renewal but all to no avail.
