Asante Kotoko marksman Songne Yacouba has finally arrived in Kumasi after his departure to Burkina Faso in July.
The 29-year old was absent in the Porcupine Warriors preseason training after leaving for his hometown last month.
According to source, the agile goal poacher arrived in Kumasi yesterday, very late in the night and currently lodging at Sports Hotel owned by Dr. Kwame Kyei.
He is expected to meet the management of the Ghana Premier League side today over his recent truancy.
It is believed that Songne Yacouba has notified the management of the Porcupines, his readiness to renew his contract which expires in 2020.
Yacouba was heavily linked to Sudanese side Al Hilal but the team failed to reach the price tag of the forward.
He was spectacular for Asante Kotoko during last season’s CAF Confederation Cup where he bagged two goals with five assists.
