Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko have slashed down media reports of fielding unqualified player in their Premier League game against Elmina Sharks.

There were media reports that, the Porcupine Warriors fielded an unqualified (Emmanuel Agyeman Badu) during their clash with Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium where they drew goalless.
According to the reports, defender Emmanuel Agyeman Badu accumulated three yellow cards before the game and was not eligible to feature for the Porcupine Warriors in the said match against Sharks.
But Kotoko have denied the reports, indicating that Emmanuel Agyeman Badu was eligible enough for the Elmina Sharks game.

Badu was automatically suspended from our Week 6 clash against Accra Hearts of Oak in Accra.
Badu didn’t even make the trip and was not part of the eighteen man squad for the Super Two clash which we won 2:1.
Badu again didn’t make the cut for our Week 7 match with Liberty Professionals in Kumasi.”
