The playing body of Asante Kotoko have rejected the GH¢2000 special bonus promised them by their Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei.

Dr. Kwame Kyei promised the team a whopping GH¢2000 each after their sounding 1:2 victory against Hearts of Oak in the ongoing Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to a report carried out by Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, the playing body have rejected the money promised them by the astute businessman.
Per the reports, the players have maintained that until the technical team get their share of the promised bonus, they will never accept the cash from Dr. Kwame Kyei.

Kotoko will travel to Sogakope to face WAFA SC this midweek before heading to Dewu to play Dreams FC on Sunday in week nine of the Ghana Premier League.
