Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have parted ways with Brazilian striker Michael Vinicius after just three months.
This was made known to the public by the head coach of the club Mariano Barreto after FA Cup game against BYFA at Bekwai on Wednesday.
Barreto said that, “Michael Vinícius is no more with us. The club will make an official announcement on his exit in the coming days.”
The reason for his contract termination remains unknown with the striker absenting himself from training for the past weeks.
He has also not featured for Kotoko since their game against Ebusua Dwarfs in week 24 of the Ghana Premier League.
Vinicius joined the Porcupines on a two and half year deal in March prior to the start of the second round of the ongoing league season.
He managed to score two goals for Asante Kotoko in four matches.[ads5]
