Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, George Amoako says his outfit are ready to face Etoile du Sahel in the CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors after defeating Kano Pillars of Nigeria, will face Tunisian giant Etoile du Sahel in the last qualifying round of the Champions League before securing a group stage ticket.
However, George Amoako believes there is no pressure on Asante Kotoko concerning the Etoile du Sahel duel, and his side will make sure they beat the Tunisians convincingly during the first-leg in Kumasi.
“There’s no pressure or whatsoever concerning the Etoile du Sahel duel. We know their threats, so we are treading cautiously to defeating them properly here in Kumasi.
“A concrete scoreline of course. Our preparation has been superb, Asante Kotoko is a bigger club than Etoile, so come what may, our victory is assured”, Amoako told Light FM.
Asante Kotoko will host the first-leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi before traveling to Tunisia for the reverse fixture.
