According to a statement from Asante Kotoko, Mudasiru Salifu suffered an injury to his fourth metatarsal which will see him at the treatment room for few weeks.
“Our warrior Mudasiru Salifu, has been ruled out of action for few weeks after he suffered an injury to the 4th metatarsal. We wish you speedy recovery strongman”, a statement from Kotoko read.

It is reported that Mudasiru Salifu who was key figure to the Asante Kotoko team last season will be out of action for seven weeks..
This means that Salifu will miss six matches in the Ghana Premier League alongside the team’s opening games in the CAF Champions League campaign.
