The grand finale of the Normalization Committee Special Competition tier 1 held today at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi grossed a sum of GH¢96,000 as gate proceeds.
The game ended with Asante Kotoko beating Karela United 4:1 on penalty shootouts after 1:1 in regulation to clinch the giant trophy and also book a chance to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League.
Kyfilla.com understands, after deduction, a net of GH¢ 56,000 was recorded with each team pocketing a sum of GH¢ 26,000.
