Asante Kotoko first-choice goalkeeper Felix Annan has urged the supporters of the club to lower their expectations a they embark on the CAF Champions League campaign.
According to the goalkeeper, even though the players are determined to lift the club higher in the competition, supporters must also be considerate and lower their expectations.
“We know that when you are playing for Kotoko, the expectations are always high. We want to tell the fans to limit their expectations but we the playing body are going to do our best to try and lift the club high”, Annan told Zylofon FM.
Asante Kotoko will be making their tenth Champions League appearance after winning the NC Special Competition tier 1.
The team have already begun preparations towards their first preliminary game against Kano Pillars.
The Porcupines will begin the Champions League campaign with a trip to Nigeria to face Kano Pillars on August 10, 2019 before the return leg in Kumasi.
