Asante Kotoko have begun residential camping as preparations for the 2019/20 CAF Champions League first elimination round match against Kano Pillars.
The Porcupine Warriors have been drawn against Nigerian side, Kano Pillars in a two-leg elimination tie that would see the Porcupines play away first on the weekend of August 9 to 11.
To enable the players, have the needed concentration for the task ahead of them, they will from now, be housed at the Sports Hotel, Kumasi.
Team Manager, Henry Ohene Brenya tells Kotoko ExpressApp that, the camping will involve 26 players.
The lads were driven to the Asokwa-based hotel after training on Tuesday. They will remain there until the team departs to Nigeria for the first leg match.
The Porcupines have been gunning for the required form ahead of the competition and the residential camping is expected to aid that quest.
