Kojokrom emerged as the champions of the 2019 Essikado Kuntum Cup held on Friday at the Railway Park in Essikado.
Eight communities from the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis namely Kojokrom, Mempeasem, Essikado, Enoe, Ntamakrom, Ehyiam, Ngyiresia and European Town participated in the competition.
Dreams FC youngster Amando Musah netted the only goal for Kojokrom in the final against Mempeasem to secure them the giant trophy.
The road to the grand finale saw Mempeasem booting European Town in the semis via penalty shootouts after 1:1 in regulation while Kojokrom thumped tournament favorite Essikado 3:1 to book a final spot.
The victory against Mempeasem in the grand finale, makes Kojokrom the first team to win the competition four times.
After the competition, Sekondi Hasaacas talisman Philip Flamini was voted the overall best player after his outstanding performance for Kojokrom.
Kyfilla.com understands, Kojokrom were given a cheque of GH¢1000 for winning the competition.
