Division One League side FC Samartex are on the verge of appointing astute gaffer Kobina Amissah as their new head coach.
FC Samartex are without a head coach after Bismark Kobi-Mensah decided to take over the vacant coaching role at Ghana Premier league outfit Karela United.[ads2]
With Kobi-Mensah leaving, reports reaching Kyfilla.com indicate that management of FC Samartex are considering to appoint Kobina Amissah as the new head coach ahead of the next league season.
It is believed that negotiations have already sparked between the two parties but the deal is not yet finalized.[ads3]
Coach Kobina Amissah is currently unattached to any club after relinquishing his position as the head coach of Bibiani Goldstars FC.

As the head coach of Goldstars, coach Kobina Amissah was able to qualify the team to the next season’s Ghana Premier league after three years with the club.[ads4]
And with his track record in the division one league, the management of FC Samartex believe coach Kobina Amissah is the right man to qualify them to the Ghana top-flight football hence the decision to land his signature at all costs.
FC Samartex finished third in the zone II of the division one league last season and are determined to make it to the Ghana Premier league next season.[ads5]
