The FA Cup Committee have announced the date for the commencement of the 2019/20 Championship.

The Committee headed by Hon. Wilson Arthur have confirmed that, the competition will kick-off from January 24-27, 2020.
A draw is expected to be held after the preliminary round to pitch teams for the other stages which will involve premier league and division one league clubs.
Asante Kotoko are the reigning champions of the FA Cup after smashing bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak 3:1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium in the finals.

Hearts of Oak are the most successful club in the history of the FA Cup, winning it for 10 times whiles Asante Kotoko have clinched it for the ninth time.
