Former Hearts of Oak striker, Joseph Esso has reportedly agreed personal terms with Asante Kotoko.
Esso who has been released by Hearts of Oak is reportedly eager to join Asante Kotoko ahead of the next league season.
According to Kumasi-based Fox FM, Asante Kotoko are keen on signing the Black Stars ‘B’ attacker to strengthen their squad for the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.

Joseph Esso was among a list of five players released by Hearts of Oak after failing to renew their contract.
The release of the former Ebusua Dwarfs striker by Hearts of Oak came as shocking to many and subsequently sparked heated argument in the media.

With Joseph Esso currently a free agent, Asante Kotoko are keen on securing the player’s signature to boost their squad for the CAF Champions League.
When signed, Joseph Esso who was on form before the 2019/20 league was cancelled will be a great addition to Asante Kotoko set up as they prepare for the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League campaign.

In other news, Asante Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah is said to have set eyes on another players like Shafiu Mumuni, James Akaminko, Latif Anabila and Emmanuel Keyekeh to strengthen the Kotoko squad.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko are said to be releasing about twelve players to make their squad a sizeable one.
