Asante Kotoko head coach Kjetil Zachariassen has dropped Jordan Opoku and Augustine Okrah from the team’s 18-man squad to face Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League.
The duo were among the Porcupine Warriors squad-list for their three days camping in Accra, but were axed from the final squad which had seen many pundits raising questions.
But Kyfilla.com reliable source has divulged that, the duo were dropped from the final squad based on registration issues.
According to source, Asante Kotoko couldn’t complete the registration process of the two players for the Nigeria trip.
This means the duo will not be available for selection during the second-leg game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko will face Kano Pillars this weekend in Nigeria before the reverse fixture in Kumasi.
