Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has tested negative to the devastating coronavirus ahead of Nigeria showdown.
Ayew was left out of Crystal Palace squad for their FA Cup fixture last weekend after testing positive to the virus.
“Jordan Ayew has tested negative for Covid and will join the team later this week in Kumasi ahead of the Nigeria game,” GFA communications director Henry Asante Twum revealed on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars contingent have touched down in Kumasi for epic encounter. Twenty-six players arrived in the Garden City without Jordan Ayew
The Black Stars will commence training in Kumasi on Monday and will be lodging at the Noda Hotel.
The team is in Kumasi to the continue preparations for the first leg tie which takes place on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
