Ghana forward Jordan Ayew has tested positive for the devastating coronavirus, according to reports.
The 31-year old was supposed to be in Crystal Palace squad to face Everton in the FA Cup at the Selhurst Park but the striker was left out of the squad after tests confirmed that he has contracted coronavirus.
This means that Jordan Ayew will not be available for Ghana when they face Nigeria in the 2022 Word Cup playoff.
Even though Ghana squad has not been announced, Ayew was among the players to be part of the squad but the latest update means he will be left out.
Already his brother and captain of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew has been ruled out of the two games due to suspension and latest news means Ghana will go into the crucial games without the Ayew brothers.
