Crystal Palace ace, Jeffrey Schlupp has been handed a Black Stars call-up ahead of Nigeria clash in the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff.
Reports in the media indicate that Schlupp has been included in coach Otto Addo squad for the epic clash as Ghana determines to secure a qualification to the world cup in Qatar.
The 29-year old who could play in defence, midfield and on the wings has been out of the Black for a longer period but will be part of the team to face long-standing rivals Nigeria.
Schlupp was supposed to have been part of the Black Stars squad for the AFCON 2021 but sustained an injury while on duty for Crystal Palace.
And since returning from the injury, Schlupp has been exceptional for Crystal Palace this season which has culminated his inclusion to the Black Stars.
Reports say Black Stars coach Otto Addo is impressed with the current form of the defender hence including him in the squad for the Nigeria clash.
