Ghana Premier League outfit Medeama SC are reportedly close to securing the services of Ivorian midfielder Jean Vital Ourega.
The highly-talented midfielder has reportedly entered crunch talks with Medeama for a possible return to the Ghana Premier League after almost three years of leaving the shores of Ghana.[ads2]
Ourega was outstanding for Karela United in the Ghana Premier League and attracted interest from numerous clubs including Tanzania giants Simba SC.
A return of the former Karela United talisman to Ghana seems possible as talks with Medeama SC has reached the apex according to reports murmuring in Tarkwa.[ads3]
Should the deal materialized, Jean Vital Ourega will add more strength to the Medeama midfield after losing kingpin Justice Blay and also give the two-time Ghana FA Cup champions more options in attack.
Jean Vital Ourega joined Karela United in 2014 in the division one league after a scintillating spell with African Sports in the Ivorian league.
He rejoined the Ayinase-based side in 2017 after their promotion to the Ghana Premier League.[ads4]
Ourega played only a season for Karela during his second stint, capped a total of 35 games with three goals, thirteen assists and seven man of the match awards.
