Former Asante Kotoko and Karela United goal poacher, William Opoku-Mensah is making the headlines in Rwanda following his spectacular form for Mukura Victory.
The talented goal scorer joined the East African club in April, 2021 on a two-year deal following his overwhelming stints at Ghana Premier league outfit Liberty Professionals.[ads2]
He was the first signing of Mukura Victory’s newly appointed coach Rodolfo Zapata and was handed number 10 jersey at the club.
Although Opoku Mensah joined Mukura Victory in the middle of the league season, the former Sekondi Eleven Wise talisman performed overwhelmingly in the Rwanda Premier league.[ads3]
He ended the Rwanda league season with a hat-trick against Mukura Victory rivals AS Muhanga in a 4:1 demolishing.
Opoku-Mensah managed to capped nine matches for Mukura Victory in the just ended league season in Rwanda, scoring five goals.[ads4]
Incredibly, Opoku-Mensah assisted three times in the nine matches he played and won three man of the match awards.
