Bechem United attacker Augustine Okrah has issued an apology for his indiscipline behavior in FA Cup final against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
The Hunters were beaten 2:1 by Hearts of Oak in the final of the FA Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Emmanuel Avornyo broke the deadlock before Caleb Amankwah and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh salvage the situation for Hearts of Oak to give them 12th FA Cup title.
During the course of the game, Augustine Okrah was sent off by referee Abdul Latif Adaari for headbutting an assistant referee.
The former Asante Kotoko forward has come under huge criticism following his indiscipline behavior against the assistant referee.
But Okrah who has been heavily linked to Tanzanian giant Simba Sports Club, has finally issued a statement apologizing to the leadership of Bechem United and the entire Ghanaian football fraternity.

Augustine Okrah ended the league season as one of the top performers, having scored fourteen league goals.
He was the third highest topscorer in the just ended Ghana Premier League season after Yaw Annor of AshantiGold Sporting Club and Asante Kotoko striker Franck Mbella Etouga.
His explosive performance earned him a call-up to the Black Stars for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic.
Augustine Okrah is expected to leave the shoes of Ghana after ending his stay at Bechem United, and has been heavily linked to Simba SC who are keen on securing his signature for the CAF Champions League next season.
