Societe Omnisports towering centre-back, James Opoku Nyimfah says he is ready for a call-up to the Black Meteors.

The 23-year old who has been a sensation for the Ivory Coast Premier League defending champions, believes now is the time to get an invite to the Ghana U23 ahead of the Africa U23 Championship in Egypt.
“I think am ready for a call-up to the Ghana U23, I’m ready because am in the best of my form. I have been praying for an opportunity and I think now is the time”, Nyimfah told Kyfilla.com.

The former Bechem United defender added that “I have been consistent for my team (Societe Omnisports) even though I joined them about three-four months ago. I know definitely Ghana will qualify to the Summer 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, no matter the circumstances.

James Opoku Nyimfah joined the Yamoussoukro based club in July, 2019 from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United after winning the FA Cup with the club.
Ghana have been paired with host country Egypt alongside Mali and Cameroon in a tough group A of the Africa U23 Championship, which is expected to commence on November 8 and end at November 22, 2019 in Cairo, Egypt.
