Bechem United striker Hafiz Konkoni has denied reports of him joining Hearts of Oak ahead of the new league season.
It was reported that, Hearts of Oak are eager of singing the talented striker as a replacement of Kofi Kordzi who left the club for Qatari side Muaither SC.

But the lanky goal poacher has said no official from Hearts of Oak has contacted him for a possible move as being speculated in the local media.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio/TV, Hafiz Konkoni stated that it might be that Hearts of Oak are in talks with the management of Bechem United but as a player, he is not aware of any move to the Accra-based side.

“I’m not aware of any move to Hearts of Oak because nobody has approached me, maybe they have talked to the management but not me”, Konkoni said on Wontumi Radio/TV.
“Personally, it is my dream to play for any of the big clubs like Hearts, Kotoko and Ashgold but currently am with Bechem United”, he added.

On his target for the upcoming league season, Hafiz Konkoni said that, “winning the top scorer award has been my target and am determined to win it maybe this season.”
