Renowned gospel singer and preacher, Sonnie Badu has threw his support for John Dumelo in the ongoing elections.
Mr. Dumelo is contesting the Ayawaso West Wugon parliamentary candidate against the incumbent MP Lydia Alhassan from the NPP.[ads2]
Since declaring his intentions to contest the seat, John Dumelo had seen some.of his colleague actors like Kalybos and Prince David Osei campaigning against him.
At the last minutes, John Dumelo had support from colleagues like James Gardiner, Kofi Adjorlolo, Kasoum Sinare and others who embarked on a house-to-house campaign at the Ayawaso West Wugon constituency.[ads3]
But at the eleventh hour, Sonnie Badu has declared his support for his fellow creative arts player who is contesting the Ayawaso West Wugon parliamentary seat on the ticket of the NDC.
On his Instagram account, Sonnie Badu wrote that, “Whiles I stay away from politics as Advised by a wise man, I choose to wish this man, my brother and friend the best of luck … @johndumelo1. I am extremely proud of you … now guys hear me .. I am a national asset and I serve all presidents, but I would love to see this man win .. I am so proud of you John.”[ads4]
