Former Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams has cleared the air over comment that was published on his sovial media page.
The 29-year old on his Facebook page, expressed his dissatisfaction over clubs paying huge attention to branding without focusing on the well being of their players.
The former Etoile du Sahel attacker posted on his Facebook page that “Just because people are making so much positive comments on branding doesn’t mean you should focus on that more than the players welfare”…Focus on the players welfare and what you can make them become or what they can become in the near future without begging…We don’t eat branding.”
Adams dissatisfaction seems to have been misinterpreted, with some insinuating that he was directing it to Ghana Premier League heavyweight Hearts of Oak.
However, the Ghana striker has cleared the air, insisting his post was a general statement and not an indirect jab to Hearts of Oak.
“I made a general statement. I was not referring to Hearts of Oak. I have been misquoted. I didn’t mention any club in my post” he told Footballmadeinghana.
