Medeama Sporting Club attacker Prince Opoku-Agyemang has said he has no issue with teammate Ahmed Toure as being speculated in the media.
There were reports in the media that Opoku-Agyemang and Ahmed Toure are at loggerheads hence the club’s abysmal performance in the Ghana Premier League recently.
This led to the supporters of the club storming the Akoon Park on Wednesday morning during the team’s training.
But speaking on Kumasi-based Pure FM, Prince Opoku-Agyemang stated emphatically that he holds no grudge with Ahmed Toure hence the supporters should disregard the reportage in the media.
He said that, “I have no issue with Toure [Ahmed] as being speculated in the media. They are saying I don’t even pass the ball to him during matches but that’s not true. Toure is a good friend and as a professional player why should I have an issue with my teammate at this crucial hour.”
Meanwhile, Medeama SC are currently sitting fourth on the Ghana Premier League log with forty points, just five points adrift league leaders Asante Kotoko…
