Joseph Esso manager, Wasiu Ali Mohammed has said Hearts of Oak never spoke to him about the new contract the team wanted to offer the striker.
Joseph Esso was released by Hearts of Oak alongside four other players after failing to renew their contract with the Ghana Premier League heavyweight.

His release sparked unease rest in the team which saw Hearts of Oak persuading him with new offer of which the player later rejected.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Fox FM, the manager of the Black Stars ‘B’ attacker, Wasiu Ali Mohammed has said Hearts of Oak never spoke to him about re-signing his player despite knowing him as the manager of the striker.

“I didn’t discussed anything with Hearts of Oak… They never spoke to me about re-signing my player despite knowing me to be his manager….They were speaking to someone else instead of me . I was not aware of any negotiations with Hearts of Oak”, Wasiu Ali Mohammed said on Fox FM.

Meanwhile Joseph Esso has joined Dreams FC on a two-year deal after leaving Hearts of Oak as Kyfilla.com earlier broke the news.
Before the 2019/20 league season was cancelled, Joseph Esso hss bagged 3 goals in 14 matches for Hearts of Oak.
