Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Hearts of Oak have appointed Samuel Nii Noi as the interim head coach according to a statement from the club.
Nii Noi has been handed the top position at the club on interim basis until a substantive coach is appointed.[ads2]
Before this appointment, Samuel Nii Noi was the head coach for the U15 side of Hearts of Oak.
He has been handed the top position following the departure of head coach Kosta Papic, assistant Asare Bediako and goalkeepeer’s trainer Ben Owu.[ads3]
The three technical team members have left the Rainbow club within a space of two weeks.
Asare Bediako was the first to relinquish his position at the club before Kosta Papic and Ben Owu followed.
Kosta Papic resigned from his position as the head coach of the club on Monday after a crunch meeting with the management of the club.[ads4]
Few minutes after his resignation, goalkeepeer’s trainer Ben Owu also followed citing personal reasons as basis for their resignations.
