Asante Kotoko begun their preparations towards the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season with a sounding victory against lower tier side Sampdoria FC at the Adako Jachie training Park on Saturday.

The Porcupines trounced the lower tier side 6:0 in the warm-up friendly today with Emmanuel Gyamfi scoring a hat-trick.
Gyamfi bagged a hat-trick for the coach Johnson Smith’ side with Songne Yacouba, Richard Arthur and Daniel Barnieh on the score sheet for the Porcupine Warriors.
After their elimination from the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup, Kotoko have been training feverishly for the upcoming league season and the friendly was to warm themselves up as they prepare to face Ebusua Dwarfs and Skyy FC in friendly matches next week.

Kotoko will travel to the Robert Mensah Stadium to face Ebusua Dwarfs on December 6 before heading to Daboase in the Western Region to play division one outfit Skyy FC on December 8, 2019.
