Real Betis Féminas have confirmed the signing of Black Queens midfielder Grace Asantewaa.
She was officially unveiled when she signed a two-year contract after parting ways with EDF Logroño.[ads2]
Asantewaa joined EDF Logroño, another Primera Iberdrola in 2019 from Techiman-based Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
Despite scoring four goals in 24 league appearances, her performance wasn’t enough to save Logrono who got relegated at the end of last season.[ads3]
“It’s another exciting step towards greater things. I’m looking forward to a great season with Betis,” she said in reaction.
Betis finished 12th in the league and hope the signing of Asantewaa will strengthen their squad for the 2021-2022 campaign.[ads5]
