Black Queens of Ghana midfielder Ernestina Abambila has joined Polish Women’s Premier League outfit UKS SMS Łódź.
The 22-year old has signed a two-year deal for UKS SMS Łódź after completing a successful medicals.[ads2]
She has joined UKS SMS Łódź as a free agent after stints with KKPK Medyk Konin also in Poland.
Ernestina Abambila began her professional career at Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies FC where she won the Ghana Women’s Premier league title on three occasions before leaving for abroad.
She signed for Belarusian Premier League (women) side FC Minsk – and became the first Ghanaian to score in the UEFA Women’s Champions League when FC Minsk beat Ljubljana in the group stage of the 2017-18 UEFA Women’s Champions League.[ads3]
She had her FIFA debut at the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup hosted by Costa Rica in 2014 and her debut game was against North Korea that ended 2–0 to Ghana.
