In England, Mohammed Kudus played the full 90 minutes for Tottenham Hotspur but could not prevent his side from suffering a narrow 1–0 defeat to Chelsea in a tense London derby. Antoine Semenyo also featured for Bournemouth, who fell 3–1 to Brentford.
In the Championship, Ghanaian duo Issahaku Fatawu and Jordan Ayew were both involved as Leicester City slumped to a 2–0 loss to Blackburn Rovers, while Jeffrey Schlupp and Forson Amankwah turned out for Norwich City, who went down 2–0 to Hull City.
In FA Cup action, goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott conceded three goals as Crawley Town were knocked out by Boreham Wood.
Over in Spain, Thomas Partey enjoyed a stellar outing for Villarreal, playing the full game as they cruised to a commanding 4–0 win over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.
In Italy, Kamaldeen Sulemana lasted 59 minutes for Atalanta in their narrow 1–0 defeat to Udinese.
Across France, it was a mixed weekend for Ghanaian players. Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, and Ibrahim Osman all featured in Auxerre’s 1–0 loss to Marseille, while Mohammed Salisu stood firm in defence for Monaco despite a 1–0 defeat to Paris FC. Meanwhile, Koffi Kouao and Terry Yegbe helped Metz record a solid 2–0 win over Nantes, and in Ligue II, Ebenezer Annan featured as St Étienne lost 2–1 to Red Star.
In Germany, Patrick Pfeffer played the entire match for Darmstadt in a 2–2 draw with Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga II.
In Austria, Edmund Baidoo came off the bench to score in Salzburg’s 4–1 victory over Ried, while David Atanga made a late cameo for Wolfsberger AC in their draw with Tirol.

In Denmark, Patrick Amoako found the back of the net for Nordsjaelland despite their 4–2 loss to Odense, with Stephen Acquah and Caleb Yirenkyi also featuring.
