Ghana coach Otto Addo is expected to announce today squad for the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.
Ghana host Nigeria in the first leg of the playoff games at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, March 25, 2022 before the reverse fixture in Abuja.
However, coach Otto Addo and his assistant coaches will be addressing the media today at the Ghana FA Secretariat in Accra.
Already Nigeria have announced their squad with Leicester City talisman Wilfred Ndidi ruled out of the crucial games due to injury.
On the part of Ghana, Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew has contracted coronavirus and could be unavailable for the two games while Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo has been injured.
The Black Stars will begin camping for the crunchy encounter on Monday with majority of the invited players set to arrive on Sunday evening.
The team will travel to Kumasi to the continue preparations for the first leg tie which takes place on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Babayara Stadium in Kumasi.
The second leg will come off at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
