Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has been ruled out for three weeks with an ankle injury.
The 28-year old sustained an ankle injury in Arsenal preseason game against their London rivals Chelsea.[ads2]
But after a week of examination, Arsenal have announced that the Ghana deputy captain will be out of action for three weeks.
“Right ankle. Thomas sustained an injury to ligaments in his right ankle during the friendly match against Chelsea last Sunday. Thomas continues to be assessed and is expected to be back in training in approximately three weeks,” wrote Arsenal.
This means Thomas Partey miss the opening day fixture against Brentford and possible the game against Chelsea.[ads5]
