Ghana defender Gideon Mensah has arrived for the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.
The Bordeaux left-back has landed at the Black Stars camp for the epic encounter as Ghana quest to grab a spot at the World Cup tournament in Qatar.
Mensah is expected to play an integral role as direct competitor Abdul Baba Rahman of Reading FC has been ruled out of the two games due to injury.
The 23-year old becomes the latest player to join the Black Stars camp after Jojo Wollacot, Andy Yiadom, Dennis Korsah, Edmund Addo, Yaw Yeboah, Thomas Partey and Joseph Aidoo.
The Black Stars will begin camping for the crunchy encounter on Monday with majority of the invited players set to arrive on Sunday evening.
The team will travel to Kumasi to the continue preparations for the first leg tie which takes place on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The second leg will come off at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
