And just after the game, coach Otto Addo has vacated his position as the head coach of the Black Stars to concentrate on his job as the assistant coach at Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga.
Otto Addo has been in charge of the Black Stars since the sacking of Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac in May, 2022 with Mas Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng as the assistant coaches while former Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton was made the technical director.
Under his regime as head coach, Otto Addo managed to qualify Ghana to the World Cup, becoming the second Ghanaian coach to achieve such feat after James Kwasi Appiah.[ads4]
