Head coach of the Ghana senior male team, CK Akonnor has reached out to injured Medeama Sporting Club midfielder Justice Blay.
Blay sustained an injury during Medeama SC league game against Legon Cities FC at the Akoon Park on Sunday.[ads2]
The talented midfielder suffered what it seems to be a career-threatrning injury after a nasty tackle from Legon Cities defender Joseph Adjei.
Adjei was subsequently shown a straight red card for the silly tackle on Blay who is now at the hospital undergoing treatment.[ads3]
A statement from Medeama indicate that, Justice Blay is suffering from a fractured fibula and may be out of action between two to three months.
As a sign to offer his support to the midfielder, coach CK Akonnor has reached out to the player who was part of the Ghana squad that played against Sao Tome and Princepe and South Africa in the nation’s cup qualifiers.[ads4]
