The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has said each member of the Ghana Amputee Team will receive $2000 each for winning the AFCON.
The Ghana Amputee Team (Black Challengers) emerged champions of the 2021 African Amputee Football Cup of Nations in Tanzania.[ads2]
Ghana defeated Liberia in the final game of the tournament to win the tournament.

Sports Ministry to facilitate return of ‘stranded’ Ghana Amputee Team
The team after winning the tournament had difficulties in purchasing a return ticket to Ghana but eventually the Youth and Sports Ministry managed to facilitate their return to Ghana.[ads5]
