The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced new Player’ Status Committee with former Ghanaian striker Kwame Ayew included.

The Executive Council in the exercise of its powers under Article 51 (2) of the GFA Statues has appointed the five-member Committee for the next two years.
The five-member Committee have been mandated to set up an employment status, eligiblity, compensation and contractual dispute involving GFA, clubs, players, coaches and license match agents in accordance with the GFA, FIFA Regulations on the Status and transfer of players.
They are to also set up the GFA Regulations in respect of the status and domestic transfer of players and the rules governing the procedure of the GFA Player Status Committee.
