The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Okraku has been named the President of the WAFU Zone B.
The astute football administrator was named the overlord of WAFU Zone B on Saturday, May 22 2021 during the 14th WAFU Zone B General Assembly at the Swiss Spirits Alisa Hotel in Accra.
He takes over from Nigerien FA President Djibrilla Hima Hamidou who has been in charge of the Union since 2014.
Kurt Okraku took over as the President of the Ghana Football Association in October 2019 following a keen contest.
The WAFU Zone B is consist of countries like Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Togo, Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Benin.[ads5]
