The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has banned Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto for derogatory remarks about match officials.
The Portuguese trainer has been handed a two-match ban after making unpleasant remarks about the match officials in their game against Legon Cities FC.[ads2]
This means that coach Barreto will not be at the dugout when Asante Kotoko face Bechem United and Elmina Sharks in the next two matches.[ads3]
He has also been fined Gh¢3,000.00 on top of the two matches ban.[ads5]
