The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced new date for the commencement of the 2019/20 league season.

According to a report on the GFA official twitter handle, the 2019/20 league season including the Premier League, division one and the Women’s league will start on December 28, 2019.

Initially, the Ghana Football Association proposed December 21, 2019 as the new date for the commencement of the league season but it has been changed after a crucial meeting on Monday.

According to reports, the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association held a meeting at the M Plaza Hotel in Accra today with representatives of the various premier league and division one teams to discuss the 2019/20 league season.
After the meeting, both parties agreed for the league season to start on the last weekend of next month.
