Ghana FA Presidential aspirant George Afriyie has explained the reason why he missed the Presidential debate on Monday.

The former Ghana FA Vice President was the only candidate absent during the GFA Presidential debate at the Physicians and Surgeons Centre in Accra.

Explaining why he missed the first-ever Presidential debate, George Afriyie indicated that, he had a scheduled meeting with the biggest artificial turf company in Turkey.

This forms part of his plans of reviving the Ghanaian football when voted as the next Ghana FA President on October 25, 2019.

Meanwhile, the likes of Kurt Okraku, Amanda Clinton, George Ankomah Mensah, Nana Yaw Amponsah and Fred Pappoe attended the GFA Presidential debate.
