The fixtures for the Western Region Invitational Tournament has been announced.
The tournament has been scheduled to commence on September 13 and end at September 22, 2019 in the Western region.
The tournament will be competed by eight teams; two Premiership clubs, five division one league teams and a division two outfit.
The eight clubs are; Medeama Sporting Club, Karela United, Proud United, Skyy FC, Nzema Kotoko, FC Samartex, Sekondi Hasaacas and Eleven Wise.
The teams have been grouped into two for the competition with each group having four teams.
Group A will boast of Karela United, Sekondi Hasaacas, Eleven Wise and Skyy FC while group B will boast of Medeama Sporting Club, Proud United, Nzema Kotoko and Samartex FC.
The group A clubs will be hosted at Sekondi Sports Stadium whiles the group B teams will play their matches at the Samartex Park in Samraboi.
It was confirmed duringthe launching ceremony held at the WRCC Conference Room today that, each club will receive a participation fee of GH¢5000.
