Former Ashantigold Sporting Club midfielder Nasir Lamine has returned to the club after many years of leaving the team.
The 36-year old has rejoined Ashantigold SC as the assistant coach of the team’s youth side.[ads2]
Lamine completed the deal with the management of Ashantigold SC on Friday and was introduced to the other technical team at the academy.
As a product from the Ashantigold youth team, Nasir Lamine will be assisting coach Sarfo Castro to nurture and develop talented young footballers to feed the Ashantigold senior team.[ads3]
Nasir Lamine played for Ashantigold Sporting Club in 2007 and went ahead to play for New Edubiase United.
He was part of Ghana’s 2004 Olympic football team; the team exited in the first round, having finished in third place in Group B.[ads5]
