Former head coach of Asante Kotoko, Isaac Opeele Boateng has said Sekondi Hasaacas talisman Philip Flamini is the best winger in the domestic league.
Flamini who is considered as a prospect for the Black Stars in the near future, has been spectacular this season for Hasaacas despite the team’s abysmal form in the ongoing division one league campaign.
Since joining Hasaacas from bitterest rivals Eleven Wise in 2016, Flamini has become an integral member of the Hasaacas squad though he spent most of last season at the treatment room.
Notwithstanding, he was a delight to watch when Hasaacas hosted Premier League outfit Karela United in the round 64 of the FA Cup on last Tuesday at the Gyandu Park in Sekondi.
He was a tormentor for the Karela United defence and was arguably the best player in the frantic game after goalkeeper Anthony Brebo.
Though Hasaacas lost on penalty shootouts, coach Isaac Opeele Boateng who has vast experience in the domestic league, and even became a coach for the Sekondi-based club believes “There is no better schemer and a demonstrator of wing play which is an art in football than Phillip Flamini of Sekondi Hasaacas. The best of wing play in the local scene.”
